Big Oak Pre-School
We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage leading to nationally approved early learning goals with individual care and attention only made possible by having a high ratio of adults to children. The children are supported in developing as individuals both socially and emotionally by having a key person.
We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s education from the start, by helping out at pre-school sessions or on our parent management committee.
There are excellent links between The Big Oak Pre-School and Chagford Primary School. Which aids a smooth and happy transition from pre-school to big school.

Early Years Entitlement Vouchers (15 hours) are accepted. We also accept employer childcare vouchers which is tax free element of a parents salary.
Tuesday morning sessions are just for the rising four-year-olds. During these sessions we encourage independence and help prepare the children to move confidently to life beyond pre-school.

Welcome back to all our parents and children and a Happy 2012 to you all!
Our topic this half term is “Our homes”. We are hoping to make a map of Chagford and where we live. If you are able to bring in a picture of your childs home for our display and for your child to talk about, that would be fantastic.
