Welcome to The Big Oak Pre-School
Our day at school
The Big Oak Pre-School is an Early Years and Childcare setting which now opens from 8 am – 6pm for four days of the week (Thursday: breakfast and afterschool club available only).
We are situated in the beautiful and secure surroundings within the Chagford Primary School site, a village school in the middle of Dartmoor.
We provide care for 18 children at any one time for children aged between 2 ½ – 11 years old. The Big Oak Pre-School sessions are available for children aged 2 ½ – 5 years old. School’s Out at Chagford is the name of our out of school clubs – breakfast club, afterschool club and holiday club available for children aged 3 – 11 years old. Little Acorns is our parent and toddler group which runs on Thursday mornings for children from birth – 5 years old.

Welcome back to all our parents and children and a Happy 2012 to you all!
Our topic this half term is “Our homes”. We are hoping to make a map of Chagford and where we live. If you are able to bring in a picture of your childs home for our display and for your child to talk about, that would be fantastic.
